Rangefinders

Measuring distance can be extremely difficult in low light or poor weather conditions. Because many people use them, rangefinders are getting smaller, more effective and less expensive. Laser rangefinders emit "eye safe" lasers from the finder. The laser bounces off the object and returns back to the finder, where a microprocessor reads the distance based on the length of time the laser took to travel there and back.

Online rangefinders cost from $260 to $700, and feature:
  • Filtering technology to reads accurately through bad weather.
  • Scan mode, a continuous laser "stream" to track a moving object.
  • Rangefinders are available in monocular, binocular and camera models.

So if you are a hunter, a golfer or a photographer, have a look at the rangefinders.
